On March 3rd, Portraits of Hope held its quarterly dinner at Covenant Presbyterian Church for the Lovelady grant recipients. The evening began with a delicious meal from Urban Cookhouse, and we had a great time gathering together.
We were honored to have Shirley Anne Stringfellow, who shared about her prayer ministry and how she will meet with the women each month to offer prayer and support. Her words were deeply inspiring, and it was a truly special and encouraging time for all in attendance.
Following this, Laura Dee Wood brought and abundance of beautiful flowers and demonstrated how to create arrangements. Each participant had the chance to design their own fabulous floral creations. The room was filled with laughter and joy as the women made wonderful arrangements. It was a fun time together and everyone left with a beautiful arrangement to take home.
We are so grateful to all who joined us and we look forward to the next opportunity to gather and grow together.
