Portraits of Hope is pleased to announce Marne Wood as the New Executive Director for Portraits of Hope.
Marne, a strong supporter of Portraits of Hope, has been working closely with the organization for the past two years and is now moving into the position of Executive Director. She along with the founder and Chairman of the Board Beverly McNeil, will continue the critical work of Portraits of Hope supporting the women graduates from the Lovelady Center
When asked about her favorite aspect of her job Marne said “My hope is for the women we serve to remain strong in Jesus and flourish as the women God intended them to be. I also love connecting our community with the mission and vision of The Lovelady Center,”
Marne graduated from the University of Alabama and earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. She and her husband, John Halsey, have four children. They worship at Cathedral Church of the Advent.
When not working to tell others about the work and mission of Portraits of Hope, Marne enjoys cooking, traveling, exercising and hosting friends. A fun fact about Marne: she’s lived in three different countries in her lifetime.
